What is Pilates
Pilates was developed by German-born Joseph Pilates, who believed mental and physical health were closely connected.
 
Pilates aims to strengthen the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and well-being. It builds our awareness of good posture and movement patterns that we continue to use in our everyday lives.
Pilates has something to offer people of all ages and levels of ability and fitness, from beginners to elite athletes.
Pilates classes are for a maximum of 10 participants to enable us to to give individual attention throughout the class.  Pre and post natal ladies welcome.
Classes in Mead Hall, East Lane, Wheathampstead.
New Monday lunch time class at 12p.m.
This class is suitable for beginners to intermediate.
Thursday evening at 7p.m. and 8 p.m.
This class is suitable for beginners to intermediate.
Friday at 11.30 p.m. 50+  Pilates
NEW senior class suitable for beginners to improvers.
Friday at 09:05 a.m and 10.15a.m.
This class is suitable for beginners to intermediate.
Classes in Southdown Methodist Church Hall ,Southdown Road, Harpenden( above Co - operative  supermarket)
Wednesday at 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. (50+ low impact)
Both classes are suitable for beginners to intermediate.
I also offer private Pilates and Personal Training sessions at your home or an alternative location of your choice such as a local park.
